Ideas International Background

Ideas International was established through a collaboration between IDEAS and the Young Refugee Cause. This non-profit secondary academy serves the refugee and underprivileged communities.

What began in 2014 as a single class of 24 students held within another school has evolved into an internationally oriented "Alternative Learning Center." It now hosts more than 140 students from over 28 countries. Housed in a five-story building, Ideas international boasts multiple classrooms, accommodating a maximum of 300 students. The facilities include an ICT room, a science lab, a library, and a versatile canteen. A dedicated team of experienced educators serves as the backbone of Ideas international. The curriculum adheres to the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, featuring coding classes and iTrain certification.

The Path to Coding Proficiency

In essence, Ideas Academy provides all students with a genuine opportunity to graduate with internationally recognized IGCSE certification and proficiency in coding. Numerous students have already progressed in their studies or embarked on their careers, with a majority entering the IT sector.

Adapting to Change: Our Innovative Response to the Pandemic

In response to the pandemic, Ideas international has restructured its framework, facilities, and methodologies to align with the demand for digitized learning. We have equipped all our classrooms with the requisite IT hardware and software, facilitating both online and in-person learning concurrently. All of our educators hold Google Educator certification and conduct online learning through various Google applications.
