Co-Curricular Programs

Our Co- Curricular Programs

Ideas International is driven by a vision of a better future, where education is a catalyst for transformation and equal opportunities. Our Co curricular programs are valued as an integral and vital part  of the learning journey at Ideas International, and are therefore compulsory and non-payable programs within the school curriculum.

We are committed to work together with educators, learners, and communities to create positive change collectively, as we believe true progress can only be achieved through collaboration, and compassion.

Students at ideas International are encouraged to discover who they are. We pave the way for students to build character,  to build bridges, to gain technological entrepreneurial and leadership skills, and to succeed academically

Our curriculum aims to nurture all aspects of the human being, to build a compassionate community where it becomes second nature to pay it forward.

Alongside our academic Cambridge program, we offer programs that aim to develop a value and purpose driven mindset. This is done by building skills such as empathy, humility, confidence, resilience, curiosity, proactivity, critical thinking, and social emotional awareness.

We build these skills through various co curricular programs listed below.

Our Approach

Our approach promotes active student engagement, applied learning, and peer to peer learning to build greater motivation and curiosity, as well as better understanding of the subject matter.

Active Student Engagement
Students take a lead in running student clubs such as the student council, the broadcasting club, and the gamified L&D club.  Our students are expected to take an active role in daily operations such as the clean- up of classrooms.

Applied learning
Students gain better insight of subject content when it is applied in the practical application during the Human, Life skills and other projects. They learn through practical experiences such as the running of the school shop and cooking skills in the canteen.

Peer to Peer learning
Students are to facilitate the training of the human and life skills modules to their younger peers.  They will also be expected to facilitate these at other learning centers as part of the community service pay it forward program.
